UCLA Vietnam Alumni visits LA!

One of the alumni I met in Vietnam visited us in LA!

We were able to connect well when we were in Vietnam, and him and his wife also helped my girlfriend when she had issues, so I was very happy to be able to host him while he visited LA.

My UCLA classmate and I asked him what would he want to eat… and he said meat! Since in Vietnam, most of their dishes are smaller and they don’t have very big steaks like we do in LA, we took in to a steakhouse.

We wanted to ensure he enjoyed his time in LA.

We connected well again, and spoke about various business opportunities in Vietnam. He invited me to visit him and his companies in Vietnam in the future and I Hope to be able to take him up on that offer. There are so many interesting investment ideas on Vietnam, I hope I will be able to continue to stay in touch with him so I will be able to take advantage of them.

He graduated about 20 years ago, and this really shows to me that the UCLA Bruin network is forever! Staying in touch with such an esteemed alumni is amazing and I’m fortunate to have been able to go to Vietnam to connect with him.
