BMW DRIVING SCHOOL

I’m so excited to begin attending BMW’s performance driving school!

While a lot of what they’re teaching at the start seemed to be a repeat of information I already knew, it was great getting a better foundation of the basic principles.

I’ve begun my goal of working towards obtaining my racing license! With my racing license, I’ll be able to better train and instruct my customers under my track rental company 1OAK rentals.

This is just the start of the BMW training program. I also plan to attend the program from Mercedes next year as well as from SCCA, so that I’ll be able to learn utilizing various cars and techniques.

The BMW driving school really helped spark my desire and love of cars and driving. After going through a basic foundation, they began on track driving. Listening to how they gave instruction was enlightening, and I am going to incorporate their styles as best as I can to my own coaching.

They were very well organized, and they provided varying instruction based on the level of expertise a driver has (or doesn’t have).

The weather was also perfect, so we were able to thoroughly utilize the entire track.

The skid pad training was the hardest for me. I still need to better master that, and I know with more training sessions I’ll be able to better master it.
