Sakura Viewing

Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) are in bloom! My girlfriend and I took a trip to the Huntington Library in Pasadena to be able to enjoy seeing them in bloom. It was raining quite a bit, but we didn’t let that spoil the fun!

My girlfriend knows my love and appreciation for Japanese culture (especially since I used to live there and am conversationally fluent in Japanese), so she helped plan such a wonderful day.

The floors were beautifully in bloom, and I hope to one day be able to see the Sakura in full bloom in Japan. While having lived in Japan in the past, I have never been fortunate to visit during Sakura season. I know though, in the future we will be able to make it happen.
